I met Sarah and Aracely during a fundraising event for a really cool non-profit called Power My Learning. I had donated a photography session to their silent auction and figured it would end up being a corporate headshot gig of some sort. At the end of the event (while I was shoving fried chicken into my mouth), Sarah and Aracely came up to me and told me they had bid on and won the session – they were going to use it for engagement photos! They said the already had a friend who was going to be capturing their wedding but didn’t have anything lined up for an engagement session, so it was perfect!
We had a ton of fun during their session (they even brought their adorable dog for the first bit) and after their photos were delivered, I wished them goodbye and an amazing wedding! Fast forward to three weeks before their wedding date, I get a text from Sarah asking if I had availability. They had been trying to contact their photographer for weeks, and hadn’t heard a peep! We quickly chatted details and in a whirlwind three weeks, I showed up a Orcutt Ranch in West Hills, Los Angeles on their big day. I’m SO glad I was available because looking back on this wedding, it was truly one of the most beautiful weddings I’ve had the honor of capturing. The outpouring of love from Sarah and Aracely’s family and friends was phenomenal, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen two people more in love!! Plus what’s better than one gorgeous bride? Two!! 🙂
These rings tho!! <3
Waiting for the first look…
Those eyes!!! #Imnotcryingyourecrying #ninjaschoppingonions
Orcutt Ranch was such a cool location! We were able to get some photos in the bamboo forest…
And the orange grove!
Then it was on to the ceremony…
Just married happiness!!
There was also this amazing barn – pair it with an awesome bridal party and it was even better!
Shout out to the videographer Phong for teaming up with a couple guests and blowing bubbles for us during this couple’s session!!
So so cute!!
